"The experience of working together has been very very good. I’ve had a lot of times where I have tried to talk to my family and they don’t get it and this is the first time what I’ve said has been fully accepted. It’s been very beneficial as I've learned to disconnect from my thoughts which I didn’t think I could do. I’ve learn to just accept things instead of trying to control them all the time. I now know that anything I feel is okay, I can talk about it and work through it. I would definitely recommended to other people even if you’re feeling good within yourself. I didn’t think I’d need it once I started to “feel better” but I wouldn’t say that’s true, there are always things that may trip you up or resurface. Also, it’s a way for you to understand why you feel good, or why you have more confidence and what's working for you. I chose to work with Olivia initially because I was really struggling with self doubt and confidence. I'd experienced some bad times in football which I’d never felt I could properly speak to someone about, be understood and have ways to work through it. These sessions have turned into a sounding board and a place of discovery with myself and my brain. Once I felt I had more confidence and started performing better it was still just as useful because it provided me with an opportunity to look at different aspects of my life which may affect my football performance or just mental state in general"
